As an independent trainer based in Portland, OR, I offer flexible training options, including in-gym, in-home and online sessions, catering to a variety of fitness goals. As a peri-menopausal mid-40’s woman, it would be easy to feel self conscious learning new things in the gym, but Amber meets me where I’m at and adds just enough challenge for me to feel confident at my growth edge. I've been training with Amber for about a year now! I originally started training to help with knee pain and a stiff back that prevented me from twisting to the right. She listened to my goals and built a plan that restored my mobility in 2-3 weeks! When i suffered a back injury (outside our sessions), she worked with my physical therapist for months to incorporate my physical therapy into our workouts and improve my strength to prevent future back injuries. She always made sure we listened to my body during recovery. My injury took half a year to recover, but Amber helped me restore my mobility and strength, and has helped me to get stronger than ever before!
