My name is Janette Wilkerson. My friends call me Jay. I been in the fitness industry for about 4 years and certified since March 2018. A little about me: I wasn’t always into fitness. I hated sweating and anything to do with the gym. This girl started at 24, cholesterol to the roof, in and out of hospitals, high blood pressure, anxiety meds and eating salads with bowls of bacon on the side. I was so unhealthy! My boyfriend (now husband) started me up playing “horse” ( a basketball game). It was fun, little by little enjoying working out, going on trail walks and it change my life! This lifestyle comes with internal and external gains; the impact that this lifestyle has had in my life has been life changing and that’s what made me want to become a trainer. I’ve gain such a passion in helping others find their own fitness, gain confidence, and happiness!
My goal with clients is to to help them find their happy by simply improving the quality of their lifes. To feel better about yourself, have more energy, build that intrinsic motivation and to push to your max strength both mentally and physically! I will help you with building better eating habits, understanding nutrition, reaching your goals without restrictions, and of course food tips along the way while helping you stay accountable! I love mixing outdoors workouts with some gym. I train in the 32821 area, but also travel to apt gyms/homes if needed. Two of my favorite parks to train at are Mickey's Retreat and Blue Jacket Park.
