My fitness journey began when I thought running and dance fitness would get me into the best shape, strong and toned. My very first certification was in Zumba Fitness and then shortly after, STRONG by Zumba. While all the cardio enhanced endurance and improved lung function, I quickly figured out this was not going to change my body.
I had begun lifting along with stready state cardio and teaching Zumba/STRONG by Zumba classes. By 2017, I had wanted to make some changes, learning more about anatomy and how the body works during exercise. I had earned my Barre Above Instructor Certification along with my Personal Trainer Certification from the American Council on Exercise that year with more knowledge about the power of strength training.
Over the next few years I have gained the knowledge to learn how to build muscle effectively and from then on wanted to educate others on the benefits and importance of lifting weights paired with cardio endurance training.
I have worked with all types of clients, age range 30-60 and those who have survived cancer, who have had rotator cuff injuries/surgeries, meniscus surgery, low back pain, weight loss goals, more mobility and flexibility. I also have experience working with beginners just starting their fitness journey. I'm excited to help keep you motivated, challenged, keep moving or get moving and feel better overall!
My favorite client story
A breast cancer survivor who needed to start from the beginning, help with lymph edema and lower blood pressure. After a couple months of training with me she was so happy to hear of her progress from her doctor. Her blood pressure was lower, her lymph edema was improving and she was noticing some weight loss as well. She was so happy to see these improvements and became even more motivated in reaching her goals!

Ally has such a fabulous spirit and I started going to her class in February and she knows how to make us shake what our mommas gave us! I absolutely love the hour of class and at the end, you feel like you just had the best time of your life dancing! Thank you Ally for all you do!
I really love zumba with Ally. By far the best zumba class I have ever taken. I love all the good songs she does that are popular on the radio and the few oldies and special request songs. She really knows how to make you sweat and work that butt off!
I've been doing Zumba with Ally since the end of October 2016 and absolutely love it! She has such a great spirit and energy and is great at motivating myself and the class to push themselves further out of their comfort zone than they even thought possible. I love coming to class every Tuesday and she is an amazing friend, teacher, and instructor! I enjoy every minute of her classes! She's definitely taken me out of my comfort zone and has given me the courage to do stuff that I never thought I would do before like get up in front of the class and dance with her. I'd recommend Zumba with Ally to everyone who loves to dance, work out, and is up for some fun and hard work.
I love Zumba with Ally. She is very supportive and does anything she can to make you feel comfortable and boost your confidence without even knowing it. It's easy to follow you when you're doing the moves; you cue the moves on point and I love when we do the dance off.
I have learned so much from Ally and I look forward to learning more. Thank you for being a great Zumba instructor and I am very looking forward for more of her classes!!
