My name is Joseph Moore, and I am an aspiring strength and conditioning coach. I currently hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Health Education with 2 minors in Coaching and Fitness along with a personal trainer certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. I am also CPR/First Aid/AED certified and have a liability insurance policy with coverage up to 3 million dollars. Documentation can be provided upon client's request.

Everyone is distinct, which is why I specifically customize your programming to provide you with the most effective experience possible. Your success is my priority and I take pride in holding myself to a higher standard than the competition. I have been training professionally for over 3 years now within the Butler, Pennsylvania area.

I'd like to share a quick story with you about how I started my fitness journey. For many years, I lived a sedentary life that was plagued with bad habits and poor choices. It wasn't until a paradigm shift happened in my life that I made the decision to incorporate a tremendous change. I decided to make exercise and meditation part of my daily routine. With this newfound passion, I pursued a degree in physical health education and a certification throug the American College of Sports Medicine.

Client success is my priority and I treat every individual with the same amount of respect and dedication. It's endearing to me to see an individual progress and become an empowered and better version of themselves, especially when it was my guidance and knowledge that helped them to achieve their success.

My favorite client story

I've enjoyed working with all of my past and present clientele. If I had to choose, I would say that my favorites have been working directly with my parents. It's endearing to me to see my mother and father become healthier versions of themselves while increasing their quality of life. I remember my mother was so excited to begin training at a gym on her own. She was dedicated and pushed herself hard with every exercise. Even when she was sick with lung cancer, she continued to train to the best of her capability. Unfortunately, the cancer was too much for her and she died in August of 2019.

My favorite exercise

My preferred exercises are mixed martial arts training and lower body resistance training. I also enjoy high intensity interval training.

My favorite quote

Anything in life that is worth having is not easily obtained!

My training philosophy

My training philosophy is to meet the individual where they in their journey. I believe that everyone has the capability to succeed, as long as they are dedicated to working diligently. If you put in the work, you will absolutely see results and I will require that you push yourself when you train under my guidance. Never underestimate yourself!

My training experience

My training experience is varied. I obtained my bachelor of science degree in physical health education. During my tenure, I was required to create programming for various classes. I also took part in a group resistance training program through the university that was unfortunately disrupted by the pandemic. I have taught clients of all ages through an online modality, along with in-person training. I was also an assistant martial arts instructor for 9 months.
