I want to help others enjoy a more active lifestyle, so they can enjoy a higher quality of life. I began working at gyms straight out of university. I relocated to New Zealand and I was an aerobic instructor and personal trainer at Les Mills World of Fitness. I also was the manager at their Christchurch gym. I returned to the US and worked for Ballys Total Fitness in Scottsdale AZ as a personal trainerand Optimal gyms in Philadelphia, Pa, Bay Club in Canoga Park, CA and also Nordic Body in Santa Monica. I competed in two bodybuilding competitions in Phoenix AZ. I started training clients out of my home and my clients' homes.

My mom and I were clients of Joanne's when I was in college. We worked out with Joanne in her home where she had a complete gym set up to accommodate a person at any level of physical fitness. During the time Joanne was our personal trainer, she made each workout fun and easy to understand. She would demonstrate each exercise and provide pointers and ensure we were completing the exercise with correct form. She was very knowledgeable about both physical fitness and nutrition. For the past two years, Joanne Gallery has been my personal trainer. Within this time she has guided me to amazing results by designing creative workouts. I now have once unimaginable energy, balance, flexibility and strength. Joanne provided me with an initial and continual subsequent assessments creating and adjusting my personal fitness routine to address any limitations that appear, yet providing maximum movement and strength training. She plans our training time to systematically and safely increase the complexity and level of exertion of my workouts as I grow stronger and more capable. I love that she is creatively designs each workout to ensure I am never bored, but also that I continue to maintain correct form. She includes obtainable goals that are individualized to my physiatry, and emotion toward fitness. My favorite workout moment with her was when I had an injured foot and felt that I needed to scale back my workouts. Joanne reminded me, “just because your foot limited your workout, don’t forget you can move the rest of your body.” I credit my new found strength and newly discovered love of strength training to Joanne!
