My philosophy is: If you don't use it, you lose it. Coaching others in making fitness a part of their lifestyle is my #1 goal! I became a trainer to bring out the best in everyone around me, we all deserve the best! My favorite type of training is HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) which I use along with strength. Nothing fuels my passion more than watching others grow along side of me. I love my dog Maxwell, trying new fitness classes, biking around the beautiful city of Chicago, and traveling the world!

Sonya is incredibly kind and reassuring--I came to this gym after rehabbing some bad injuries and I feel like she understands my injuries better than any of the other trainers. I would recommend Sonya definitely if you have an injury and are nervous about working out again or if you are new to personal training. She's really good at adjusting to fit your workout needs.
