About Julie
Senior Fitness - Reach Wellness Goals - Maintain Independence Have you noticed a parent or relative becoming a little too sedentary, losing strength or getting unsteady on their feet? Regular strengthening and exercise can help maintain independence, aid in fall prevention and enhance mood. I bring over 20 years of experience in athletics and fitness to WELLFIT55. My company is focused on senior adults looking to maintain energy and independence, gain strength and confidence after a setback, or reach a fitness goal. I am an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer, and Senior Fitness Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). CEC's include Low Back Health, Functional Movement, Upper Mobility and Stability, Core Strength, Facial Network, Post Rehab Exercise, and working with clients with cancer, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes. I am also certified in CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid through the American Red Cross.
