About Lisa

Lisa is a world-renowned fitness expert, trainer, educator, and motivator. She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and the owner of Lisa Reed Fitness, an in-home training and nutrition company with a team of trainers serving three states. Lisa is also an on-air fitness expert and appears regularly local television and radio stations in the D.C. area, including FOX 5, WUSA 9, ABC 7, News Channel 8, WTOP, WMAL, and ESPN Radio. Lisa has trained hundreds of elite and professional athletes during strength and conditioning coaching career. Most notably, she worked as the personal trainer, performance coach, and nutritionist for tennis icon Monica Seles, preparing nutrition and fitness regimens that helped her excel in her sport, winning five major titles and ranking in the top 10 in the world. Lisa was the first female strength and conditioning coach at the United States Naval Academy, and she served as the strength and conditioning coordinator at the University of Florida. Many of her former athletes are still in contact with Lisa today, as she continues to write programs for them. Lisa has also earned top fitness honors herself, including achieving professional IFBB status after winning the USA NPC Fitness Nationals. In only her third pro show, Lisa qualified for the Fitness Olympia and received a special invite to the Arnold Classic. In 2002, she was ranked 9th in the World. Lisa has been featured as an editor, model, and fitness expert in print and online media, including Muscle and Fitness, Muscle and Fitness Hers, Oxygen, Flex, The Washington Post, Livestrongcom and AARP.
