About Brendan
I have achieved my Bachelors in Exercise Science through MSU Denver and I am a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS.) I have interned at the world-renown Landow Performance facility working with every type of athlete from youth to professional, basketball to equestrian with one common goal to increase speed, power, muscle mass, weight-loss, injury prevention/rehab, etc. I have also worked at commercial gyms working with many injuries including, ACL tears, complete hip & knee replacements, lower back pain, shoulder pain, etc. I have over 4 years of experience in the strength and conditioning industry and I am the owner of Lucid Sports Performance. My biggest training philosophy is to work to get results, but at the same time to have fun while doing it because if we aren't enjoying our workouts than it isn't worth doing. I never make anyone do something I wouldn't do myself. I strive to make each person the best versions of themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally and create lives that mean more than any game-winning shot!
My favorite client story
My favorite client stories is the first time they begin to see results! As a trainer, hearing a client's "Ah-Ha Moment" is the pinnacle of why I love training. One of my client's had a complete knee reconstruction surgery and was convinced they would never be able to move as they once did. After working with me for 3 months, their knee strength jumped back up 30 lbs, just shy of what the healthy leg was pushing. My client is back in their martial arts classes, still not 100% but kicking butt and leveling up belts.

Any power contrast exercise done after a main lift. Plyos, throws, slams, tosses, etc

My training experience
I started working out at 12 years old, with no direction and working out because my nickname was "Chubby." I spent countless hours as a kid looking up various workouts; some good and some bad, always looking to decrease my fat, increase muscle, strength, speed, and confidence. Years later, I found my degree plan and learned so much from my mentors and aim to pass my knowledge to anyone willing to learn, especially that young kid just starting out, trying to learn everything there is about training.
