I'm a coach, and coaching is my passion. I help people who are truly motivated to achieve fitness goals. I help my clients refine or develop healthy lifestyle habits, because any fitness goal requires the midset to commit to the work that's required to reach those goals. I help my clients mentally and physically take the steps needed to achieve them. I believe it's as much a mental commitment, as it is a physical commitment. I have over 8 years of strength and conditioning coaching experience, which translates into a comprehensive understanding of how to guide different clients with different goals and objectives.
I specialize in athletic training, but have worked with individuals of all ages and levels. Once you make a commitment to achieve fitness or health related goals, you make a commitment to become an athlete. I've used athletic methods and strategies to help clients find success in their journeys. Even individuals who don't consider themselves athletes, end up surprising themselves with what they can actually achieve when they commit to their goals.
I promote the psychological benefits that result from exercise and believe that with dedication and discipline, everyone can achieve the goals they set out to accomplish. When you commit to your goals and achieve them, you find more confidence, energy, strength, and resilience, even in your career and everyday life.
My favorite client story
I was working with a young baseball player, who was getting taller and growing fast. His strength, coordination, and endurance was unable to adequately adjust to his growth rate and it was hurting his performance in practice and games. I was able to identify the areas where he required extra attention to adjust to his growing body. We developed a plan to build a foundation of strength and then progressed to improve his performance in hitting, throwing, running, and enhanced his overall endurance. He is now the fastest kid on the team, one of the hardest hitters, and has quite an arm. The greatest reward during the whole process was watching his confidence and self-esteem grow with his strength and development. I still work with him and we continue to work together to pursue his goals.
My favorite exercise
I enjoy any exercise that incorporates multiple muscle groups. I like to use my time exercising efficiently, so I incorporate compound exercises into my routines.

My training philosophy
I am a coach! That's my training philosophy, I coach clients. There are a lot of personal trainers out there in the world. I coach individuals and work with the individual, because everyone is unique. In my experience working with youth, I see how important it is to ditch a one-size-fits-all approach to training. I develop a unique coaching strategy for each client, based on her or his personality, needs, and unique circumstances. My clients want to see results, and I am fully committed to helping my clients see results.
My training experience
I have experience training individuals at various levels of fitness and ability. I have trained clients who need to establish more healthy living habits, athletes who have specific goals for competitive events, and everyone in between. My experience involves training individuals who have needed help establishing systems to make healthy lifestyle changes, and individuals who are dedicated to their fitness but need guidance to overcome plateaus and obstacles that are preventing them from reaching their next level of fitness or strength.
