About Jesse

I pride myself on providing the best value in Denver. Included in the price of your workouts is an entire custom plan built out on my branded app. So, for example, if you can only afford two workouts per week but want to do five, I've got you covered. You'll have three more workouts tailored to our plan and your ability level right there in the scheduling app. I have an extensive background in fitness, including college athletics, a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, published research in the field of kinesiology, two years working as a Physical Therapy Technician, and four years as a Personal Trainer.


My favorite client story

In 2021, a new client came to me saying that he couldn't exercise without hurting his back. We found that his core and low back muscles were weak and his hips were tight. Within 3 months, he was golfing, skiing, and working out with ZERO pain. Two years later, he had a catastrophic shoulder injury while jumping over a fence playing tennis. He ended up tearing his rotator cuff, separating his AC joint, tearing his labrum, and breaking his humerus. A year after that, we had him back to full strength, doing 15 pull ups, and in excellent shape. Obviously, after the shoulder injury I worked very closely with his Physical Therapist and Orthopedic Surgeon, but it was amazing to be a part of this process.

My training philosophy

Balance is the key to a great training program but also to a great life. I never push overly restrictive diets but instead strive to find a way to help you to achieve your goals while still being allowed to live your life. This has been repeatedly demonstrated to lead to longer lasting results.

My training experience

After getting my bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, I worked as a Physical Therapy Technician for 2 years before becoming a personal trainer 4 years ago. I have worked with well over a hundred clients from different backgrounds, managed a gym, and finally started my own business, Real Honest Fitness. Fitness is my passion, education is my foundation, and helping you achieve your goals is my purpose.
