About Liam
Hello! My name is Liam, and I am a certified personal trainer that focuses on high quality movement, strength, and helping clients find their favorite way to stay fit. After years of aimlessly working out, I found my passion for personal fitness upon training to compete in Muay Thai. From there, I quickly realized I loved teaching other people and getting to see their progress in the gym as well as their personal lives improve.
Until recently, I worked as a Senior Software Engineer for a large corporation and never felt like I was making a real difference in anyone's lives. That is what led me to decide to set aside that career and train people full time. The sense of joy and accomplishment a client expresses when they reach those most sought after goals has become a driving force in my life.
I focus on mobility, strength, and quality of movement with all of my clients, pulling upon my background competing in Muay Thai and Powerlifting, as well as my time spent as an amateur fire dancer in the circus community. I am here to help you safely and effectively accomplish your fitness and wellness goals.
My favorite exercise
As one of the foundational human movements, the squat is my favorite exercise.
My training experience
I started my time training in university with the common bodybuilding at the time. After college I found myself more interested in calisthenics and Muay Thai, spending 4 years training with champions and world class experts. During that time, I also found myself traveling and learning circus arts, further cementing my love for movement. Since 2020, I have spent much of time my focusing on finding a healthy mix between Rock Climbing, Powerlifting, and Running. With each new sport and experience, my appreciation for quality of movement increases, and I hope to share that with you!

Liam’s breadth of knowledge of weightlifting is very impressive. Every time that I ask him for advice, whether it’s form correction or subbing out an exercise on the fly, I get a quick but well thought out response. To round it off, his knowledge of supplements and nutrition means that I’m getting a complete personal training experience. Liam inspired me to start training for a powerlifting competition, something that I never thought I’d be able to accomplish. Give him a shot - you’ll be so glad you did!
Liam is quick to point out any incorrect form. He explains not only how to visualize the movement but also how you should feel it within your body. Weightlifting has been a passion of mine for over a decade now but Calisthenics is a new territory that I have struggled with as it requires a lot of mind body connection. In just one session, Liam showed me how to correct my form for hand stands and hand stand pushups.
I've had the pleasure of using Liam's services a few times now and can firmly say that during those times I have never felt better about myself and my body. Liam listens and tailors each workout plan to my variously changing goals. Liam is also knowledgeable about the various exercises and muscle groups, and is able to convey his thought process so that you know what, how, and why, you're doing some things and how they translate. Lastly, while Liam is very motivational he is also extremely patient and I appreciated him taking the time to explain and teach me new things about the gym, the exercises, and even my diet. Cannot recommend Liam enough!
Liam has been training me for the last six months after I had knee surgery. We have had consistent 1v1 session every Monday for a few hours and I can confidently say I am the strongest I have every been. Liam is extremely kind and patient as I navigate my new thresholds and life after surgery. Not only does he focus on strengthen, but we have worked on my flexibility and mobility. He is always persistent in trying to push me to failure, but is constantly monitoring my injury while we workout. I would absolutely recommend Liam to anyone looking to get a boost at the gym, or someone to workout alongside.
