My favorite client story

One memorable client story that stands out is my client, Jessica. She came to me wanting to shed 10 pounds and to feel more confident as a young professional embarking on her career. Through consistent effort and a tailored program, she not only achieved those goals but surpassed them, showcasing the transformative power of dedication and personalized guidance. It's moments like these that fuel my passion for helping clients unlock their full potential and experience remarkable fitness success.

My favorite exercise

My favorite exercise is definitely deadlifts. There's something empowering about lifting that barbell off the ground, engaging multiple muscle groups and pushing my strength to the limit. It's not just a physical challenge but a mental one too – a true test of focus and determination. Deadlifts have become a cornerstone of my fitness routine, symbolizing resilience and progress with every set.

My favorite quote

"It's not about being the best. It's about being better than you were yesterday."

My training philosophy

My training philosophy revolves around achieving a harmonious balance between physical strength, mental resilience, and overall well-being. I believe in tailoring fitness programs to individual goals, recognizing that one size does not fit all. Consistency is a cornerstone, acknowledging that lasting results come from persistent effort. Beyond the physical, I emphasize the profound impact of a positive mindset on overall health. It's not just about workouts; it's a journey of self-discovery and empowerment.

I have been training with Miguel for over a year and have obtained excellent results due to his balanced and tailored program for me. I was in very bad shape when I started working with him. I had terrible balance and overall, my entire body was weak. I also had a torn rotator cuff. I explained to my orthopedic surgeon the program Miguel had me on and he indicated that this was perfect and if I continued with it, I would not require surgery or steroid injections. With Miguel’s guidance, I have no pain and have gained tremendous shoulder strength and flexibility. Working with Miguel saved me thousands of dollars on physical therapy and the possibility of more invasive procedures. My entire body has become stronger and more toned. The poor balance issue has also vastly improved. I am very pleased with the results over the past year and highly recommend Miguel as a personal trainer to meet your strength and conditioning needs. Miguel designs a personal program for your goals and specific needs. The program consists of many varied exercises for overall improvement of muscle development and core strength. He always encourages and pushes me for continued improvement. The program never gets boring with the frequent introduction of new exercises. He is a truly dedicated professional.

I have been training with Miguel for years now and would highly recommend him to anyone who’s looking to make the gym fun and see results. Miguel helped me feel comfortable in the gym and is incredibly knowledgeable about all things fitness and caters your training for your specific goals and needs. He is also a fun person to spend your gym time with! Our sessions are full of sweat, hard work, and laughs which make them fly by. In the time I’ve been training with him I have seen such an improvement in strength, cardio health, and my overall fitness!

Was Miguel’s client for several years and in that time saw serious results. We largely focused on strength training and the gains speak for themselves. When we started I was hardly able to bench press 100 lbs. and when we took a hiatus for covid gym closures I was able to bench my weight (190). Only discontinued after suffering a knee/shoulder injury while skiing. Would highly recommend him as a trainer.

I have been working with Miguel for about a year now. Prior to working with Miguel, I had zero knowledge regarding the gym and equipment. Miguel understood this and took his time when he first started. He has a lot of patience and will make sure you understand what you’re doing before doing it. He is very flexible with scheduling as long as you give him advance notice, so this helps any busy professional with a chaotic schedule. Thanks to him, I feel more comfortable stepping into the gym.

Miguel is everything! He pushes you to your limits but also is a good listening ear if you’ve had a rough day. He always has a smile on and emits all the positive energy. He genuinely cares for his clients. Couldn’t ask for a better trainer/therapist!

I would recommend anyone regardless of skill level to work with Miguel. He did a thorough assessment before our first session to see where I was at and what I wanted to accomplish. He was flexible scheduling wise, but also held me accountable. As someone that felt too intimidated to step into a gym, I dreaded the first couple of sessions. He made me feel comfortable and that feeling of dread went away over time. I’ve now found myself going to the gym on my own and applying the things he’s taught me, which is a level of confidence I’ve never had before. Over the last week I’ve even felt excited to work out - something I couldn’t have even imagined a couple months ago. I’m early in my journey just starting to see results, but I owe that to Miguel giving me a kickstart.
