About Eric
I have a great deal of experience with clients of all ages and abilities including older populations and clients with mobility issues. It doesn't matter what level you are at, it's all about getting you motivated and getting an invigorating and fun workout.
The vision for my first Fit2Box fitness studio was to create a comfortable, friendly and stress-free environment in which to train people of all fitness levels so they could accomplish their fitness goals and/or relieve stress with a fun and invigorating workout.
My specialty is mixing in stretching, mobility work, traditional strength training (and adding in some boxing / kickboxing techniques and padwork only if clients would like to try it ). I've actually had clients with Parkinson's and other disabilities who loved a little light padwork Finally, I have also done chair exercises with clients with balance and mobility issues. That's an option with in person or virtual training
I have been an Ace Certified Personal Trainer for almost 20 years and have successfully trained many clients of all ages and fitness levels (including post-rehab and clients with disabilities).
My favorite client story
A client once told me that she would regularly go for massage therapy. And, after about 4 -6 months training with me,
she told me that her message therapist told her "I don't know if you feel it, but your body has REALLY changed. "
She continued to say, "I hate to tell you this but when you started with me it was like massaging a marshmallow."
I felt a great deal of gratitude that she shared this story with me and was very happy to hear this. The results definitely showed up in the first follow up body composition test but most clients are not able to hear such a profound (and somewhat comical and lighthearted ) statement on how much their body has changed from their workouts.
My favorite exercise
Boxing / Kickboxing Padwork.
My clients prefer this much more than cardio. It also adds to core strength and balance.
Plus, it is a real stress reliever!
My training philosophy
I just want to see every client get a good workout, leave uninjured and with a smile.
If they leave happy, healthy and content with their workout, it makes it extremely likely
they will look forward to their next session.
My training experience
I've been personal training since 1993 and been an ACE Certified Personal Trainer since 2004.
Plus, I have almost 30 years of boxing and kickboxing experience.
I have also personally worked with Physical Therapists throughout my life giving me a great deal of expertise in
post-rehab training and in-depth knowledge about preventing and recognizing injuries and imbalances.

I've been a personal training client since Eric opened his gym in Hollywood, FL. I enjoy the workout because a one-hour session flies by and I love the results. I've lost body fat and inches while becoming stronger. Eric always mixes up the workout with weight training, boxing and kickboxing. We are seasonal residents and we've been coming to Eric for 2 years now. We enjoy Eric’s training because we get to spend time together while working out and having fun. I really like the boxing/kickboxing part because I think it adds to the workout and really produces results. I have been coming to Eric for almost 4 months. I like the fact that it's a one-on-one atmosphere. I like the way I am picking up boxing skills and getting in great shape at the same time. I initially walked into the studio inquiring about learning to box. I liked the fact that Eric had plenty of boxing experience and he was open to working with beginners like me who just wanted to pick up boxing skills but not necessarily box as a career. I have been coming to Eric’s studio on and off (mostly on) for almost 6 months. I can't believe at 84 yrs. old I am walking 35 minutes and doing light weight exercises without huffing and puffing thanks to Eric. I would recommend Eric because he knows what he's doing.
Working out with Eric is the best fitness decision I have ever made. I started working out with Eric just over a year ago. During that time I have dropped 3 dress sizes and 30 pounds. More importantly, Eric has made working out fun again. The combination of boxing, weight training and floor core work makes the hour go by quickly.
