I am located in Jersey City, training clients individually and in small group settings in addition to coaching online. I meet with my clients either in their homes, outdoors, or my apartment's gym in Manhattan or surrounding areas. I mostly work with women, from beginners to experienced athletes of all ages. I have experience training pre- and post-natal women and individuals rehabbing injuries (and post-surgery).
I specialize in strength training, general movement ("functional training"), and endurance maximization. I combine progressive and traditional training methods. The intention behind my training is to help clients get stronger, while increasing their mobility and stability.
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work with a clinical concentration from Fordham University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Monmouth University. While attending Monmouth University in 2014, I worked at a local gym and self-coached for a natural bikini bodybuilding competition for 8 months, placing second overall and learning a ton about the science of the body and nutrition.
I enjoyed my time as an eating disorder/body image therapist after college but still had the desire to pursue a career in fitness. I yearned to directly help those who struggled with body confidence by helping them move better and feel better as a result. I became a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine shortly after, having helped many clients gain a more compassionate relationship with their bodies since then.
I create a better lifestyle for my clients by providing a well-structured and balanced training and wellness program that prescribes whole food nutrition, fitness, recovery, and daily stretch routine. My professional advice is aimed towards creating awareness of their current habits and making sustainable changes relative to their lifestyle. I am passionate about transforming clients’ health in mental, spiritual, and physical aspects using a holistic approach to fitness. Throughout training, I educate about improving their fitness level, balancing their energy systems in the body, and reducing stress through meditation and breath work to regenerate health.
