Anthony Guarnieri is a personal trainer based in Santa Monica. He incorporates a dynamic mix of techniques to help his clients become strong, flexible, confident and pain-free. Anthony specializes in losing weight, building muscle and improving your posture. Anthony began training at Equinox over 6 years ago, and now trains at a private gym in Santa Monica. Over his years of training, Anthony has earned a plethora of certifications ranging from specialization in Kettlebell movement, Functional Patterns, Yoga, and Precision Nutrition. Anthony integrates his knowledge and expertise into individualized, progressive programs that deliver tangible results. He works with a wide range of clients, and his favorite clients are those who have a goal, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work hard. Getting Y'lan Noel ready for The Purge was awesome and a lot of fun. I got into this because I wanted to do what I love and it has lead me to great people like Y'lan. We trained six days a week to get him ready for his movie. I loved how much fun it was having two passionate focused people on the same goal doing everything they can to succeed. We spoke almost daily and watching his body transform and get stronger was incredible. It is something I am proud of, I made a friend while doing it and we both learned a lot from each other.

My training experience
Training for me started when I was 14 when I first started wrestling. I have had multiple trainers/coaches in my own life. I have had goals of losing weight and gaining muscle and have accomplished both. Training is apart of my life bc I believe health is wealth and it translates to every other area of our lives.

The BEST trainer! When gyms closed and everyone was worried about getting out of shape, I got stronger by training with Anthony! Thanks to his creativity and knowledge, limited at home equipment was no problem and I quickly saw and felt amazing results in my body. Not only is Anthony very knowledgeable in his profession, he also brings a great energy making every session so fun. P.S. he is also a yoga teacher and helped me to become the yogi I never thought I could be. I’m doing postures now I only thought I would see on Instagram.
