About Amir

Who’s Amir Latef ?

An Elite Fitness Coach.

A Manhattan native and the youngest of eight children raised by a single mother. A lifelong athlete, coaching athletes, kids, and desk-bound employees in corporate environments, while studying towards a degree in Kinesiology. A role model for Health, Athleticism and Optimism.

However Amir's life took a turn in the summer of 2015. While riding his bike on the streets of NYC, he was hit by a yellow cab and, in the blink of an eye everything changed. His multiple injuries, ACL surgery, constant pain, fatigue and anxiety would have devastated the mind, body and soul of many. Not Amir!

While the daily physical therapy that was prescribed helped to an extent, he knew it wasn’t going to be enough. This pivotal life experience forced him to design a tailored approach to training and fitness. Using resistance bands and myofasical release techniques, he retrained and rejuvenated his body in ways doctors didn’t think was possible. He understands challenges!

Through intense focus, motivation and determination, Amir’s body fully recovered. He continues to educate himself in all aspects of health and wellness. Based on his knowledge and experience, he helps change people’s lives through fitness, with an emphasis on using HIIT, functional, complex, and compound movements with body-weight, TRX, kettle-bells, barbells and resistance bands. Whether you want help with the transformation of your body, daily motivation, stretching, enhance sports performance.. Amir will help you get in the best shape of your life and prevent you from being deconditioned, with tailored programming to design the body you want.
