About Josh
I recently moved back to NYC from S.Fla. After receiving my B.S. degree, I worked in country club settings as well as maintaining my 'home client' appointments. My strength has always been my patience and motivation approach. Being older than a lot of trainers, 70; i believe there is additional sensitivity towards an older clients' needs as well as abilities at any given time. If someone is looking for a LOUD drill sergeant approach...; that's not my approach. There are many ways to motivate, and i believe with the knowledge base, patience, and communication skills; the desired goals can be reached.
i do have recommendation letters to back up this bio.
My clients' training sessions are varied so boredom doesn't distract the mission at hand;.....but i use bands, TRX, dumbbells.....whatever the clients' gym offers, as well as my training bag filled with training aids.

Training Areas Served
I have had the good fortune to work with Josh Kantor for the past three winters. I had some serious health issues including a total knee replacement. Throughout this time, he has been the most thoughtful and careful of trainers. He tailored a program that met my requirements, strengthened me, kept me interested and motivated, and all without injury. His kind and thoughtful manner has made working with him a real pleasure. I highly recommend him for his astute knowledge of training, his sensitivity to someone who is 75 years old and has numerous joint and muscle issues, and his marvelously kind demeanor.
