Cliche, but I became a trainer because fitness, sports/athletics, and movement are my passions. I wish everyone could experience the same high I do from working out and being active. I am 27 and have been very involved with sports and training my whole life. I played field hockey and soccer all through high school and have been skiing since I was 3. I have been training in the gym seriously since the age of 15 and continue to increase my strength and competence in that space today. My primary goal in training is to be fit for skiing and life in general, and the happiness that comes with that is something I find invaluable. In working with clients, I want to afford them the same opportunities. Please do not feel that you need to be of a certain baseline skill or fitness level. Part of the thrill and challenge of this job is working with people of all different backgrounds. Look forward to hearing from you!
My favorite client story
I couldn't choose one favorite client story. All of my clients have had really unique and exciting successes specific to them and they've absolutely lit us up. I've had a weight loss client overcome poor flexibility and progress to being able to put shoes on without assistance when he couldn't previously. Many beginner clients have gone from little to no knowledge of exercise to being able to do moves that require decent core strength and recruitment of multiple muscle groups. Also super exciting is clients' reports of feeling better about their bodies--being more confident on vacations, at special events, etc.
My favorite exercise
you people are killing me with this choose one favorite thing.
I) deadlifts 2) plyometric exercises 3) anything that recruits core and balance

Lindsey is an absolute dream to train with--she cares so deeply about you, your goals, your journey, your needs, and what you want to get out of your workout (it truly is about YOU, and not about her). She listens to you when you explain what your hopes and fears are, and utilizes every morsel of information to ensure to challenge you, encourage you, push you, and most importantly, motivate you to do your absolute best. She's got a great personality (including a fabulous sense of humor), making her a joy to be around when working out (she'll definitely get you laughing while you're pushing through some hard workouts). Her knowledge of the body and workout techniques is also never-ending and so impressive. She truly has an answer for everything and continues to be available and a helpful resource outside of the actual workout. I think the best part about Lindsey is really the stuff outside of the workout: she informs you, teaches you, makes you understand what you're doing and why, equipping you to truly be the best version of yourself in ALL of the ways. No matter where you are in your fitness journey (beginner, pro, you name it), you can't go wrong working with Lindsey!
Lindsey kicked my butt in the nicest way possible. She was sweet and genuine but knew when I needed a boost in confidence or when I was being lazy and should kick it into gear. I loved the workouts we did and always felt a good sore the following days. I never knew I had the wrong posture or pose for certain workouts until Lindsey, and I felt an immediate difference in my muscles when working out. I lost weight and inches pretty much everywhere (and noticed a difference in my booty size ;) after just a few months of working with her. I still keep in touch with Lindsey and continue to be apart of her food challenges which I find really helpful. I couldn’t rave enough about Lindsey!
I've trained with Lindsey for about a year and couldn't be happier. I don't enjoy working out, but Lindsey always makes it fun and switches up the sessions to keep them engaging. She's good at pushing me when I need it and I have become significantly stronger and more fit. She is also great about giving advice when it comes to my overall physical health, and what I can do outside of the gym.
