Her energy and enthusiasm is unlike anyone I’ve ever met.

Sarah Wolff is an extraordinarily gifted instructor and her skills, though impressive as a dance instructor whose range is extremely broad from classical ballet to hip hop, goes way beyond dancing. I have met Sarah in the spring of 2014, wanting new challenges in my work out and breaking off from my routine which was no longer bringing me the health and aesthetic results I was looking for. Three years later, not only do I find myself amazed by how Sarah continuously changes routines adding new movements, new beats, news rhythms to our workouts but also new discipline from yoga to Pilates to modern dance, but also more fit and with more stamina and energy than ever before. I certainly am in better shape at 36 than I was at 20! I also have some challenging neck, back, and knee issues that make some movements more difficult for me. I trust Sarah completely not just because she trusts me to communicate what feels ok and what does not but because she is a very gifted listener also, completely in tune with my body and excited to find new ways to adapt to new challenges, keeping in mind my safety, while not loosing sight of my need to be challenged and my goals as her student. She also is the most devoted instructor I have met ( and I have had many trainers in my 18 years in NYC), always enthusiastic about our work together, with an unparalleled energy and a warm and cheeky smile which makes is difficult to say no to any exercises, even those painful reps that have chiseled my arms and abs. I won't even mention the glut work here because you have to do experience it for yourself to understand what glut work actually means!

About two years ago, I began classes as a means of working out and exploring a new exercise program. I had no specific goals or expectations in mind at that time. I quickly became aware of areas where my performance fell short and began individual dance/interval sessions working with Sarah Wolff. With Sarah’s guidance patience, and expertise, we recognized my need to work on my posture, my coordination, and the fluidity of my motion. Sarah’s support and encouragement have kept me motivated to improve in all of these areas and we have achieved measurable success. As a result of her efforts, I now experience much better performance in group dance classes and I’e gained a self-awareness of my posture and movement in everyday activities as well. Whether its shrugging my shoulders while driving or slouching in a chair, I now catch myself and correct my movement without prompting. I call the work we’ve accomplished and highly recommend her to those seeking to improve their awareness and their skills in dancing or exercise.

Sarah has awesome energy which she brings with her to every session- I warn you it is contagious :) If you are struggling with rheumatory athritis, ankylosing spondilytis or scoliosis, you must see her! I was not able to get through a light yoga flow class before I met her. I was afraid to go the gym for fear of triggering a flare up - as had happened even from a few minutes on an elliptical. In just a few weeks of working with her, I've already seen a major improvement in my strength and overall wellbeing. I am able to run again on the beach, something I have not been able to do for over 10 years. Her sessions are challenging yet do not injure me as previous work in physical therapy has. She has a very solid foundation in anatomy and will recommend exercises that specifically correct your issues. She's big on alignment. She's also big on making things fun and incorporates dance moves into our routine. If you're willing to put in the work it takes, she will help you to make your fitness goals a reality. She rocks!

I'm in the best shape of my life and I have Sarah to thank for that! She has worked with me diligently over many months to overcome a couple of injuries, increase muscle definition, and increase my overall fitness. I really appreciate her patience, positive attitude, and encouragement to push myself to the next level. She is able to easily adapt our workout based on how my injury is progressing which has allowed me to heal but also get in amazing shape at the same time. Sarah is very precise in her form corrections for every exercise which has helped me build an amazing 'foundation' and a lot of core strength. Also, Sarah is a trained dancer and I always have fun incorporating dance cardio into our routine. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to challenge themselves and get in awesome shape!

New to workout out after a long hiatus. Sarah made me feel so comfortable and pumped up to workout. Definitely looking forward to more sessions.

I've been working with Sarah about 4 months and have loved each session! Professionally, Sarah is top notch. Her background, education, and training, make her an extra amazing trainer because she understands so much about the body. Personally, Sarah is sweet, funny, and gracious. You won't regret working with her! I'm stronger than I've ever been now post-baby. I can hold my giant baby with ease for hours and lift the stroller up the stairs! Definitely could not do that before!!
