My favorite client story
One of my most memorable clients came to me with debilitating shoulder pain that disrupted their daily life and sleep, forcing them to cut back on activities they loved. After just four sessions, they shared that we’d made more progress in a month than they had in over a year and a half with other treatments. In fact, they chose to stop seeing their primary physical therapist because our one-on-one work—focusing on flexibility, targeted strengthening, and shoulder mobility—was so effective. Watching them regain comfort and confidence to return to their passions was incredibly rewarding and reinforced my commitment to personalized care.
My favorite exercise
The Dumbbell Pullover is my go-to exercise for its versatility in improving both flexibility and functional strength. This move targets the lats, chest, and shoulders while enhancing thoracic mobility, which is key for better posture and pain-free movement. I love how it can be adapted for any fitness level, using light weights for beginners or heavier ones for advanced clients, making it a staple in my sessions to help clients move more freely and confidently.
My favorite quote
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
— Marianne Williamson
My training philosophy
My philosophy is rooted in injury prevention and mindful movement, ensuring fitness enhances your life without risking harm. I focus on flexibility and functional fitness to improve how you move every day—whether it’s sitting comfortably, performing at your best, or reducing pain. By combining techniques like PNF stretching with progressive, functional exercises, I create sustainable, personalized plans that prioritize proper form and body awareness. My goal is to make fitness a seamless, enjoyable part of your lifestyle, empowering you to feel strong, mobile, and confident.
My training experience
With over 10 years in the fitness industry, including 8 years as a personal trainer and 2 years as a flexologist, I bring a wealth of expertise to help clients achieve their goals. My Doctor of Physical Therapy degree equips me with a deep understanding of movement, injury prevention, and rehabilitation, which I integrate into every session. As a flexologist, I’ve honed my skills in assisted stretching techniques like PNF, specializing in improving flexibility and functional movement. My experience spans working with beginners, those returning to fitness, and individuals seeking to enhance performance, posture, and comfort. I’m trained in creating tailored programs that incorporate strength training, bodyweight exercises, resistance bands, and mat Pilates, ensuring a holistic approach to wellness.
