About Courtney

I’ve been training clients for over 20 years, and my entire approach is built around one thing: getting people real results without breaking their bodies in the process. I’ve coached thousands of sessions across every fitness level — beginners, older adults, post-injury clients, busy professionals, and people who have never worked with a trainer before.

I’m an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer with two decades of hands-on experience in strength training, fat loss, mobility, injury-prevention, and corrective exercise. I’m known for combining tough-love accountability with supportive, encouraging coaching. I watch form obsessively, customize every workout, and meet clients exactly where they are — whether that’s recovering from surgery, rebuilding strength, or pushing toward advanced performance goals.

My philosophy is simple: strength, mobility, and proper technique are the foundation of a healthy, confident life. I love helping people realize they are capable of far more than they thought. The best feedback I get from clients is, “Because of your encouragement and guidance, I didn’t give up on myself.”

If you want a trainer who will push you, protect you, educate you, and truly invest in your success — I’m your coach.

My favorite client story

One of my favorite clients came to me after a shoulder surgery and told me she wasn’t sure she’d ever get her strength back. She had lost confidence, mobility, and felt defeated. Week by week, we rebuilt her foundation with careful programming and precise technique work. Months later, she was lifting weights she never believed she could and told me, “You gave me my confidence back.” That moment reminded me why I’ve been doing this for over 20 years — helping people realize they’re stronger than they think.

My favorite exercise

The Pallof Press — it’s one of the most underrated core exercises out there. It builds deep core stability, improves balance, protects the spine, and teaches the body how to resist rotation. I use it with beginners, older adults, and advanced clients because it strengthens the core in a way that actually translates to real life: safer lifting, better posture, and stronger movement overall.

My favorite quote

“Strength doesn’t come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn’t.”

My training philosophy

Your body was built to move, and it performs its best when strength, mobility, and proper technique come first. My philosophy is simple: train smart, train with intention, and train for longevity. I don’t believe in cookie-cutter workouts — everything I design is personalized, progressive, and results-driven. I want my clients to feel stronger, more confident, and more capable in real life, not just during a workout.

My training experience

I’ve been a certified personal trainer for over 20 years, coaching thousands of sessions across all fitness levels — beginners, older adults, post-injury clients, pre/post-surgery clients, athletes, and people returning to fitness after long breaks. My background includes strength training, corrective exercise, mobility work, fat-loss coaching, and programming around injuries and chronic pain. I specialize in rebuilding confidence, restoring strength, and helping clients get measurable, sustainable results.
