Best of the best AMAZING. Very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Ali genuinely cares about your fitness goals. Love that he didn't dive right into a formal session right away (though I'm sure he would if you prefer) -- but he did some basic "assessment" exercises to see where I currently stood and then built a plan around my level. He's a true believer that fitness and health are a lifestyle, not a short-term thing. He is extremely informed and passionate about fitness...and he now has me feeling the same way. HIGHLY recommended.

Ali is the perfect trainer. I had one specific goal that I shared in our first session. He accessed my training needs and helped me meet my goal before the first session was over. Ali changes my training regiment often so that I am never bored but the exercises are always challenging. And, as a bonus, Ali is funny and kind.
I followed Ali Umar to FYT. He’s that good. I have been working out with Ali for six months - since I moved to DC. He has deep knowledge of strength training, and is good at communicating things in ways I can learn from. I am close to the best shape in my life and just turned 58. Ali has developed workouts for me to do on my own as well. I particularly recommend Ali for his ability to use body mechanics and trigger point therapy to resolve pain in my muscles that allows me to keep training. He is also adept at adjusting exercises to account for my individual capabilities.
