About Jacob
I became a Personal Trainer to help people live the life they want to live. Having spent most of my life overweight, I was able to lose 70 lbs in my mid-20s through diet and exercise. This journey made me realize the importance of proper guidance and support in achieving weight loss goals, which inspired me to become a Personal Trainer.
As someone who was never "naturally" fit or athletic, I understand the challenges that come with diet, lack of motivation, and other obstacles that may hinder your progress. With over eight years of experience as a trainer, I've learned that every individual is unique, and so are their fitness goals. My aim is to help you live without limitations, whether that means fitting into an old pair of jeans, hiking on vacation, playing with your kids, or achieving a total body transformation!
I have worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds, including those in their 20s and 30s who are striving to get fit and build a healthier lifestyle. My approach is tailored to meet each person's specific needs, ensuring that your fitness journey is both effective and enjoyable. I believe in creating personalized workout plans that are challenging yet achievable, focusing on consistency and progressive improvement.
My goal as your trainer is to provide the guidance, support, and accountability you need to reach your fitness goals. I focus on helping my clients develop a positive relationship with exercise and their bodies, celebrating their achievements, and pushing their limits in a healthy and sustainable way.
My favorite client story
I have worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds, tailoring my approach to meet each person's specific needs. One of my favorite success stories involves a 68-year-old woman who sought my help because she struggled to get out of a beach chair. Through consistent training, she lost 20 lbs and, now in her 70s, is the healthiest she's been in years, capable of going on 6-mile hikes and confidently getting out of any beach chair she sits in.
My favorite exercise
Squats- they are actually my least favorite but they are so important. They are not only great for your legs and butt, they are also beneficial for building a strong core. They will make you overall stronger and help you burn the most calories.

I have worked as a personal trainer for over 8 years now. Working in big box gyms to now doing all private in person and virtual training. I have worked with clients of all ages from teenagers to people in their 80's.

Jake has been training me since November 2023. He created a monthly workout and meal plan to help me lose weight and lean out while still maintaining my muscle mass. He has helped me see great results and has been super supportive and helpful to me throughout the process. He is very responsive to my questions and does follow up phone calls too where he answers my questions. When I had a shoulder injury he helped me modify my workouts to allow myself to recover by focusing on other muscle groups. He is a great trainer and always listens to me and helps support and motivate me when I feel discouraged. I am thankful to have Jake as my trainer and he has taught me so much along the way.
