In February of 2015, I walked into a doctor’s office to alleviate my severe back pain. I left with a blood pressure prescription, physical therapist referral, realization that I was 260lbs, and a fear of getting a heart attack way too young. I knew I had to make some drastic changes! At the time, I worked as a Direct Support Professional; helping people with special needs achieve goals. One of my clients had a goal of working out three days per week, so I utilized those days to workout along side him. In many ways I was his personal trainer for 2 years before I was even certified. During that time I also quit smoking, started eating healthier, did my own workouts, and lost 100lbs! What once felt like a chore, physical activity became my favorite part of most days. Combining my long love of helping others and my newly found passion for working out, I decided to pursue personal training as a career path. In just under 3 months, I completed my certification through the American Council of Exercise (ACE).
Now, I want to use my experience of physical training and weight loss to help others better their lives! Getting healthy isn't something that happens through fad diets, magic pills, or generic workout regimen that people sell on TV. Every body's body is different! In order to get long term success, you need something specific to YOU... not the masses! Let me help you make FIT happen!

Cory designed a 20 minute builder workout that he actually did with me. It was tough and I wasn’t sure I could actually do it but he motivated me and cheered me on the whole time. When we finished, he gave me praise and high fives and told me how proud I should be since I don’t workout very often. I’ll definitely return to him for more frequent exercising. I can even bring my friends and do small group workout! If you’re looking for a trainer with love and passion for what he does, someone who cares about their clients all while kicking your butt into shape, Cory is a must!
I had right shoulder surgery four months ago wanted to get back into the gym needed support to help me with my shoulder Cory did a wonderful job of supporting me and helping me get the things that I was worried about was very knowledgeable and supportive of the way that I could do and when I couldn't do it was a great experience
I’ve worked with Cory for four sessions so far. I’ve done a variety of exercise styles over the years, so am familiar with most, but having gotten out of the practice of doing ANYTHING, am really out of shape. I have appreciated the way Cory has both challenged me and gradually moved to more rigorous workouts during the initial sessions. He is mindful and about what’s going on with me, yet encourages and pushes. Glad he’s my trainer!
