Welcome to my page. I have degrees in education and instructional design with background in teaching adults and children. I have about 15 years of educational experience. I've been a long distance runner for about 9 years and a cancer survivor for about 10.5. I am working on my Sports Nutrition Certification. Below gives the general idea of training process: Personal Training: In the first sessions, we discuss what you want and your goals. I use and design assessments to find out where you are and develop a "gap analysis" (That's basically a fancy term to describe the process I go through to look at the difference between your current status and goal status.) Then I design a plan to help you reach your goals. I'm with you all the way. Group Training: I do HIIT and running. When it comes to HIIT, we work with different modifications and various intensities. This is intended for general audience. Long distance running, involves working up to 5K/half marathon/ marathon training though run/ walk method.

My training philosophy
My philosophy centers around the scientific and engineering methods, but I summarize it in my own way for training purposes: (1)Take inventory of yourself and your goals. (2) Create a goal. (3) Hypothesis. (4) Design/ Test. (5) Discover Results. (6) Improve.
My training experience
I lead a group exercise class for children once a week in an online platform. We perform various levels of intensity. We discuss modifications, nutrition, and other healthy choices.
