About Adam
Hi! I'm Adam, and I'm here to guide you to meet your goals on your exercise journey, no matter how big or small!
I am a part-time consulting environmental engineer with a passion for fitness. Working full time at a desk is hard on both your body and your mind. I've experienced this first hand, and have committed my spare time to helping adults of all ages, abilities, and situations experience the mental and physical benefits of discovering and participating in a movement activity that enjoy.
I consider it my job to educate clients on how small adjustments to their daily routine, being creative with exercise scheduling, and finding a physical activity that you love, could increase their amount of movement, and overall health.
Whether its walking, running, lifting, swimming, or anything in between, I want to give you the tools to find and enjoy and activity that makes you feel like your best self.
In my personal time, I train for various types of endurance challenges, changing it up regularly to keep myself challenged and always fresh. Let's get moving!
I'd love to meet you at your home, your work place, a public park, or a gym that allows outside trainers (I'll pay the membership if its Under $20 a month). All locations must be within my published training radius.
My favorite client story
One of my clients, who is focusing on core stability and mobility, found out she measured an inch taller at her annual physical! This is likely due to our work on improving strength and endurance of postural muscles. Improvements in strength, stability, and mobility can improve posture, decrease pain, and help you stand taller.
My favorite exercise
I love any cardio exercise, but swimming is my favorite. Long cardio sessions gives me an extended period to either clear my head, or be alone in my thoughts, which ever is needed that day.
My favorite quote
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
-Winston S. Churchill
My training philosophy
Just show up!
Showing up is half the battle, and once you've made the commitment to show up, you can use your body in the capacity that it is available.
My training experience
I've worked with a wide variety of clients from working folks who used to be athletes and want to learn how to regain their fitness, to exercise novices who are looking to find an activity that they enjoy to make their exercise journey sustainable. I love working with working adults to discover the immense mental health benefits of exercising, and developing strategies to use movement as a stress management and reduction tool.
