About Sam

I'm Sam Akinrinade of "SamFitness LLC" and I'm a Strength, Conditioning, and Performance coach from NYC. I've worked with general population clients as a certified personal trainer for over 15+ years in the NYC city area for Ballys, and Equinox Sports Club since 2002.  In 2012, I transitioned to private training to one of NYC’s pioneering independent training studios, Titan Fitness Studios, and was quickly hired as a General Manager while maintaining a clientele base as high as 20.   In 2016 I started a sprint club "A Tribe Called Sprinters NYC” with a long-time associate Jonathan Lespinas, as well worked as an Assistant Track & Field Coach under Jonathan, the Head Track & Field Coach of St. John’s Prep High School in Queens, NY.     At the start of 2020, Sam and Jonathan helped open a new performance extension of the prolific and nationally respected South Brooklyn Weightlifting Club created the SBWC: Performance Center, in Brooklyn, NY; A 5,000+sq./ft state of the art athletic development and recovery space, that can accommodate world-class professional athletes, but designed to make extraordinary training to everyday people regardless of ability. ? In High School I ran track and played football and played football in College as well as on a Semi-Pro team. I also have a martial arts background in Kung-Fu, boxing Muay Thai.  I have a Bachelors in Business Management from Baruch College
