About Ma Lia
Ma Lia Thao is a nutrition coach, corrective exercise specialist, and an International-Sports-Sciences-Association-certified personal trainer. Ma Lia is passionate about helping her clients shed personal barriers and accomplish their health and fitness goals through self-love and self-discipline. As a single parent who has weathered many difficulties of her own, Ma Lia understands how hard it can be to practice appropriate self-care. She has felt the empowering benefits of exercise firsthand, and she strives to be the coach for others that she never had for herself. Ma Lia believes that fitness is the best way to train one’s mind and build mental resilience and that acquiring a great physique and a healthier self-image will come naturally as a bonus side effect. As Ma Lia’s love for fitness has grown, she has pushed herself to excel and ask questions. She’s passionate about teaching others how to maintain active lifestyles and create their best lives mentally and physically, no matter what their situations or health goals may be. She truly believes that her clients can accomplish anything they set their minds to, and she’s excited to help them reach their full potential.

She is also a nutritionist who really helps you understand the food your body needs to maintain a healthy body. She has incredible knowledge, patience, and energy. She taught me how to lift weights with the right form for maximum results while breathing correctly. Her 1 on 1 sessions has really help me become stronger and understand my body and muscle group. I was looking to be challenged, and each session she pushed me to my max and provided a full-body workout. Every sessions was a lot of fun with great music, encouragement, and energy.
