About Mike

I carefully choose exercises based on your particular structure, goals, fitness level, and limitations(if any). I use careful progression to make things more difficult over time, not all at once. Most importantly, I want you to have a great workout experience that will make you feel good, during and after.

Often you will hear trainers say "I train every client the same way I train myself. " Wrong! There is only one way to train the client and that is the one that works best for them. My clients are trained in regards to their individual structure, ability and specific goals.


My favorite client story

I trained a young man with cerebral palsy. When we started, he was shy, withdrawn and had no confidence in social situations. We worked on strength training, posture work and martial arts training. A year later, he is stronger, more confident and he even did some public speaking. In 18 years of training, I've never seen anything like that transformation.

My favorite exercise

I love isolated movements where it's real clear what muscles are working - leg extensions, side raises for shoulders, curls for biceps, press downs for triceps.

My training experience

I have been a personal trainer since 1996. I go to Resistance University in Oklahoma City for classes in anatomy, joint mechanics, physics and physiology. I have trained executives, post rehab patients, housewives, teen athletes, seniors and those with special needs.
