My name is Steven Pust. I am a California native, now residing in Boise, Idaho. I have been a personal trainer since May of 2017. I graduated from Sacramento State in 2017 with a degree in Kinesiology (Coaching Physical Activity and Conditioning) with a minor in Psychology. I have worked with clients of all ages, and varying athletic abilities. Weight loss, athletic performance, and everything in between can all be achieved through my training programs. Workout with me and enjoy a customized plan best fit for YOUR goals. You will be working out in a 5000 square foot indoor training facility. The training facility includes: free weights, barbells, physioballs, a crossfit rig, high bars, ropes, rings, med balls, plyo boxes, resitance bands, and much more! I started training with Steven in November of 2018. I had a goal of losing 15lbs, and regaining confidence in myself. I setup workouts with Steven for two times a week. Instead of simply leaving me to my own devices on the other days of the week, he went out of his way to write me a FULL training plan for Monday-Friday. He included a number of easy at home exercises I could do if I couldn't find time to make it to the gym. His workouts in the gym were challenging, but reasonable. I always got a good sweat on, and left the gym feeling like I got some work done. I highly recommend Steven to anybody in the Treasure Valley area! He will go above and beyond to help you achieve your goals.
The last time I could really remember being so active was when I was on the swim team in high school. Now, well over a decade later, I find myself not only working out regularly, but loving it and feeling great! I've tried using pinterest workouts and trying here and there trainers at gyms, but they never really seemed invested and I'd always fall off the bandwagon. When I started with Steven several months ago, I didn't have high hopes, but he above and beyond blew me away! He payed attention to my current level and would customize workouts just for me. He'd be there the whole time, making sure my form was good and I was working out just enough to accomplish my goals. If you're on the fence, heed my advice and just see how Steven can help you succeed!
In October 2017 while impulse shopping I purchased a month’s worth of weekly 1hr personal training sessions at a local gym. To my good fortune I was paired up with Steven. He has since been an excellent resource for easy to understand, and accessible workouts that can be performed at home. Steven is responsive to changes in my personal fitness goals, and frequently introduces new and challenging exercises designed to help me achieve those goals. Most importantly, Steven provides his clients with sincere encouragement and knowledgeable guidance. In total I have lost 65lbs, cleared a mental fog I wasn’t even aware I had, and have developed a really surprising fondness for physical activity. I highly recommend Mental Edge Training for anyone who is looking to improve their fitness, but is unsure where to start.
