About Chelsi
My name is Chelsi and I am a Personal Trainer and Kinesiologist. I specialize in strength training, corrective excercise, flexibility training and nutrition. I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology. I am passionate to educate my clients about Health, The Human body and Nutrition while helping them reach their health and fitness goals. With 18 years of experience, I have helped alot of people not only lose weight and get healthy but also overcome illnesses, diseases and recover from injuries and surgeries. With a Kinesiology background, it is my passion to also help people rebuild their body and health after surgery, injuries and illness.
I became a Personal Trainer after a bad car accident at the age of 19 years old. I did not break any bones miraculously but I did have a good amount of musculoskelatal injuries. My body was in alot of pain and the recovery took alot of patience but this very event birthed my purpose and passion. As I was going through physical therapy and recovering from the accident, I found a passion to learn and understand the human body. I got a certification as a Personal Trianer and started helping people in the gym. I then got enrolled in college to pursue my dreams of becoming a doctor. As I was studying pre medicine/ Kinesiology I had realized that being able to help people with their muscles and health was an avenue that seemed more efficient for me than becoming a doctor. I learned from my own recovery how powerful the human body is and that it can heal itself with proper nutrition, supplements and a proper exercise program.
My favorite client story
Her name is Kristi, she is an amazing human being. She lost 100 lbs, healed both achillies tendons as they were both injured, she came in the gym in a wheel chair and a year later was slowly jogging on her feet. Her mobility increased tremendously during our time together. She battled a past addiction, had 2 gastric bypass surgeries that really negatively affected her natural digestive process. We helped her digestive system regulate so she could eat food without getting acid reflux. Kristi is amazing and her results came from her commitment to her health, determination and perseverance especially on hard days.
My favorite exercise
Deadlifts for sure! They hit almost every muscle in the body.

My training philosophy
Commitment, consistency and diligence are the key to success. You will have hard days, you will want to give up but its when things get hard and you choose to keep persevering is when you overcome and gain the strength you need for your next level. All things are possible if you believe!
