Simon started CrossFit in 2013 seeking to gain strength and build muscle to supplement his endurance background. He quickly became hooked and attained his CF-L1 coaching credential in 2014. Simon loves helping people recognize their potential and become the best version of themselves both 1-1 and in group classes. He believes that CrossFit’s constantly varied programming, community atmosphere, and tracking of benchmarks over time are the best way for athletes to be the best version of themselves.
Simon has a passion for leveraging his experiences to help athletes develop their skills across the many modalities employed by CrossFit including strength development, olympic weightlifting, gymnastics, and metabolic conditioning. He is constantly seeking new ways to help athletes and is currently working on attaining the CrossFit L2 and NASM Certified Personal Trainer credentials.
