Because of my nursing background, I bring a lot of medical knowledge and experience to the table. I am a wife, a mom, and a marathon runner. I have run 6 marathons and currently just "run for fun"
I work out of my home gym in Aldie, Virgina. My training includes customized plans that include cardio training, strength training and Nutrition coaching. I cater my plans to individual needs, but many workouts include HIIT workouts or Tabata. One of the biggest benefits to using a Personal Trainer is the accountability that is provided. I aim to mix things up each time and keept it fun so you want to come back for more! I offer both 30 minute and 1 hour sessions. I hate working out, but loved working with Kristen. She was knowledgeable and was able to get me into perfect form. Scheduling was easy and flexible. I didn’t become bored since she changed up each session into a whole new routine. She is funny and entertaining, creating a pleasant workout. She even allowed me to whine and complain with every lunge! I felt like I made a new friend and was so sad when she moved out of state. Absolutely great trainer!
I've been training with Kristin for about a month now and she's been really great. I was having a really hard time losing weight before, but now with Kristin I am finally doing better. Although slow progress due to personal reasons, it's still better than no progress at all. My energy has gotten way better, I even noticed it in the workouts, and she's there to help me not give up so fast. I love how she accommodates workouts to each individual and pushes you to get to the next weight. In one month I went from using 5lbs weights to 15lbs. More importantly, she makes sure you are doing the workouts correctly to avoid injuries, and that's really hard to find these days. If you're looking for someone to motivate you, help with your nutrition, be flexible with your schedule, and all around kicks your butt every time, Kristin is your go to for sure. I recommend Kristin to anyone in a heartbeat, she's extremely reliable and always ready to go with routine planned and all. Her great personality makes the workouts a lot more fun too :).
Let me begin by saying I’m not a fan of working out...but Kris always made it fun. She knew when to push me and how to keep me motivated. You could tell she really enjoys what she’s doing. She’s easy to work with, and accommodating... schedule wise an can work around any injuries. The only thing I don’t like about Kris is the fact that she moved too far away to be my trainer! Miss her!
