About Tamra (Tammy)
I love how working out makes me feel and I love helping others find that same enjoyment. It truly helps me mentally and physically. Once you make it a habit you will never want to stop working out!
Recently, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I've had two surgeries, 12 weeks of chemo and continued iv treatment every three weeks for a year. I never gave up and continued to workout with light weights. I walked or ran even through chemo and nausea. Now it is my mission to help other women going through the same thing. I truly understand how difficult it can be to keep going but I'd love to help you if I can.
My favorite client story
I had a few clients start working out for the first time in their 60's, now in their 70's they look and feel the best they ever have! They are just as strong if not stronger than others half their age!
My favorite quote
Be stronger than your excuses!
My training philosophy
If you don't enjoy it you won't stick with it. Working out has to be fun and take you to a new level of strength and health.
My training experience
I've trained individuals of all shapes and sizes. Old and young. Male and female. I've been working out for most of my life and certified as a trainer for over 10 years.

Tammy is an excellent trainer. She understands her clients needs and knows how to build upon their strengths and overcome their weaknesses. She challenges her clients and doesn't let them stay in their comfort zone so they can achieve their goals. She is extremely supportive and encouraging and her positive attitude is infectious!
Tammy is a highly dedicated personal trainer who sincerely loves what she does. She works to maximize her client's success by using a variety of techniques. Tammy knows how to make fitness fun, while motivating people to improve all aspects of their health, including proper nutrition and adequate rest. Being a personal trainer is so much more than a career for Tammy. It is her mission to help people of all shapes and sizes improve their lives from the inside out.
Both my husband and I trained with Tammy for several years before she relocated. The workouts were tough and well balanced with strength training and cardio. She is very motivating and pushed us to work as hard as we could. She is attentive to any physical issues and patient as we learned new moves. I highly recommend her and wish she was still here so we could continue our workouts.
