Hello! My name is Erika Chevalier. I created Badu Fit Training in 2019, it is a fitness and health brand striving to help people all over to create an healthy & fun lifestyle! I believe It's more than the aesthetics, it's about how you feel & look inside too. I strive to help people make fitness realistic, maintainable and achievable because that's what is going to stand out. That's how they will make it a lifestyle and use the knowledge to help themselves & others.
What makes me happy is seeing my clients glow when they talk about the lifestyle changes they have done & also seeing them happy from working hard.
Your Typical First Session:
With all my new clients, I have them fill out a questionnaire about themselves, goals they have in mind, age, height & more. Then, I'll have them fill out a medical history form, current medical conditions, PAR-Q & a 3-day dietary record. All of this information will help me assist them as their trainer.
DAY OF SESSION:
You will get a tour of the training facility so I'll show you around just so you can get comfortable. We will then get to know each other, I'll ask you questions about you and I'll tell you about me. You will then discuss any fitness/nutrition goals you have in mind. Lastly, you will fill out a liability waiver and informed consent.
Here is where the 30-mins of our first session will look like. We will record your body weight, body fat %, body composition, blood pressure, cardiovascular health, flexibility and range of motion, muscular endurance, movement assessments, muscular strength & posture. We will do certain movements where I'll be able to assess each category so we know where we are beginning at.
END OF SESSION:
We'll talk about how you feel, thoughts or concerns. I'll give you details on the next session and what to expect. I'll also explain any training packages that fit in your budget, share testimonials from other clients & share what you will expect from me as your trainer.
