About Lauren

Throughout my youth, I was an athlete. I swam, played volleyball, voluntarily attended strength and conditioning camps every summer, and even enjoyed strength training at the YMCA as a teenager. I have always been a fitness enthusiast! I swam competitively for 13 years, but then last second decided to not pursue a swimming college career. Unfortunately, I continued eating like a full time athlete but had stopped working out! Fast forward to 3 years later, I woke up 30 lbs overweight, embarrassed and unhappy. I realized that was NOT who I was so I decided to re-dedicate myself to my personal fitness and health! As I was on my own weight loss journey, I offered to train a few close friends and family members. Amidst a failing office job career, I quickly realized no other career would make me happier than personal training! I successfully lost the weight, grew muscles I didn't even know I had, worked hard for months on end and got certified by ACE to be a personal trainer! I officially started personal training at a big box gym in October 2018 and 8 short months later decided to start my own freelance personal training business "Happy Fit Life with Lauren". I have experience with a wide variety of clientele but I specialize in weight loss and strength training with clients between the ages of 20 and 60 years old. I am actively learning and growing to be comfortable with ALL type of clients. Give me the chance to show you how to love health and fitness as I do, and I promise you will not regret it!

Lauren is a beyond wonderful trainer! I began my workout journey looking for some life balance of self care and aiming to become more fit/strong, and I can truly report that she helped me achieve that. Well she doesn’t just make workouts targeting your goals, she guides you to understand the purpose of each set, only making each workout more enjoyable and satisfactory. I don’t know about you but I know when I’m working out I want to be able to use the right muscles to get the most out of it! Lauren checks in with you throughout your workout. I had some cautions in working out due to past injury’s and pain but Lauren was mindful of her workout plans and truly cares about how confident you feel. Her energy and encouragement make working out something you look forward to. I could continue to share how great training with Lauren thus far has been, but I truly think you’d see what I’ve shared and more in your first few sessions.
