About Amrit

I draw from bodyweight training, hatha yoga, gymnastics, parkour, traditional weightlifting, sports training (soccer, basketball, and football) and rehabilitation, among other areas to create a program that will focus on you and what you would like to achieve by training.

I am originally from Mumbai, India and came to LA to pursue my dreams of fitness and healing arts.

I majored in Business and graduated with honors from Adelphi University in New York.

The complex nature of yoga made me a patient, focused and logical person.

Honesty, Optimism, Perseverance, and Self-Awareness are all qualities deeply rooted in my personality.

I have experienced a serious back injury while falling off a motorbike in Kerala in 2014.

During my treatment and rehabilitation, I designed a focused training plan for myself and adhered to it for several months strictly.

With perseverance, I made a complete recovery and continued to push my limits.

I decided I should use my knowledge and my experience to encourage and help more people, and since then, began working as a trainer and a fitness manager at 24 hour Fitness in Santa Monica, one of the largest fitness franchises and coaching students and trainers of all backgrounds.

I’ve worked with a wide range of individuals to achieve their fitness goals.

I am also knowledgeable of training programs from all areas of the world and the theories behind them.

Resistance yoga integrates ancient eastern and western healing arts, along with the latest scientific methods to prevent injuries and restore energy.

I use myself and my fitness colleagues as a laboratory sample and see the final results. For my clients, I will use the latest and functional training protocols and techniques to design a personalized plan to help them achieve different goals as soon as possible.
