Exercise physiologist extensively trained and experienced in teaching a number of undergraduate and graduate courses in several academic institutions here in the US and overseas. My areas of expertise include: exercise physiology, fitness, nutrition, health and disease and over all wellness. In addition, over the years I have enjoyed a long and successful career as a clinical exercise physiologist working in clinical settings conducting exercise stress testing, fitness evaluations and individualized exercise and nutrition prescription.
As a personal trainer, I try to get to know my clieInts quickly and assess their needs and together we set short and long term realistic goals based on their current health status and fitness level.
Each of my new clients undergoes a thorough health, nutrion and fitness evaluation. All clients are strongly encourage to provide most recent copy of their blood work. Based on the results, they are given an individualized 8 weeks exercise and nutrition plan. In order to assess progress and to increase motivation; a follow-up fitness and nutrition evaluation is conducted at the end of each 8 week training period.
During each training session, clients receive updated information regarding training methods, nutrition, weight management, behaviour modification and overall health benefits of active lifestyle.
