I started my career as a certified personal trainer in 2010. After my career in basketball wrapped up in 2012, I invested all of my time in perfecting the art of fitness. In my 10 years as a fitness professional I have acquired multiple fitness certifications ranging from boxing to spinning and I have solidified myself as a premier group exercise instructor. I have conducted thousands of classes and hosted multiple fitness camps. Now I focus my time on developing the best fitness classes possible that cover multiple styles of training from H.I.I.T to traditional weightlifting. Fitness has never been a job to me. I always saw fitness as an opportunity to help people change their lives. I see fitness as a way of saving people from mental illness, and other health related issues that can be solved through exercise. I'm thankful I've been blessed to make a living doing something that benefits people.
My favorite client story
Watching my client be able to relive her days as a professional dancer at the age of 63. She came to keep with multiple injuries and a lot of hesitations. She was asked to be in a show 1 year after we started training due to her ability to still move like she could in her younger days.
My favorite exercise
Push Ups. I have multiple ways to do them and I will do them all everyday.
My favorite quote
There is no such thing as failure only delayed success. Glenn Payne Jr
My training philosophy
Always challenge yourself to be better than your best. No matter how you feel give the best you can at all times.
My training experience
I was a semi professional basketball player in Dallas, Texas. After leaving basketball I took on boxing and obstacle course racing (Spartan Racws primarily). I have competed in 10 races. I continue to play basketball weekly and I compete in boxing as well.
