Hi fitness family! My name is Hannah Joy and I am traveling trainer, as well as an owner of Hannah Joy Fitness, a private training gym located in the San Fernando valley. I started off my career as a sports model as well as an international traveling trainer. I have spent months in places such as; Egypt, London, Italy, and many other parts of Europe and the U.S training one on one.
For the Women, I pride myself in the art of training the female body. Being a woman, I know what it takes to burn that stubborn fat while building those curves! I've been know to build glutes on women who never had much "back there" to begin with! I'm silly and don't take myself too serious, keeping it light hearted while helping push you to get the body and BOOTY of your dreams!
For the men; I still train very functionally, burning fat with a goal usually of putting on muscle mass. Don't get it twisted, I will create workouts that shock and change your body!
My favorite client story
I honestly cannot pin point one client story. I have personal relationships with each and every one of my consistent clients. I have success stories from pre and post pardom pregnancies, to clients battling cancer, to clients simply wanting to get in the best shape of their lives! I give you my word to meet you where you are at, and push you to greatness from there. :)
My favorite exercise
My favorite exercise is the one legged deadlift. It trains your core, hamstrings and glutes all while working on your stability! Its not only a "get fit" move but its training you athletically.

My training philosophy
My training philosophy is to train each individual to their greatest degree where they are at. I do not believe in putting hours and hours of training in the gym for your everyday individual. I train my clients with functional training, meaning that I give you workouts that help you achieve your goals, while training your body to to functionally manage every day life.
My training experience
I started my career before I knew what I was doing! I have loved health and fitness all my life and that showed in my relationships with family and friends. I trained family members, friends, and neighbors long before I knew that I was actually fitness training them. Seeing people's lives being changed in my circle, (simply just doing what I loved ) caused me to get certified and further my career. Now 6 years later I own my own fitness company and travel training business.

Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about Hannah as a personal trainer and how much she has helped me. I really lacked motivation after not seeing results on my own at the gym... I was very discouraged when I came across her and right away telling her my trouble zones she knew what to do to see results for my body type. She has high energy that makes you want to keep going when you'd usually just quit and she's such a friendly face to see weekly - I didn't dread going "to the gym". As the results came in, I was even more thrilled because I looked more feminine than ever. I reached my weight loss goals - and I now have the toned, lean body I've always hoped for and couldn't come close to accomplishing on my own (although I tried my whole life!) So thank you thank you Hannah - truly life changing.
Hannah trained for the last 3 months to get me ready for a friends wedding. I really wanted to tone up my body. I was a cardio only kind of girl... until Hannah. ? she taught me how whole body work outs and circuit training can really transform your body. She also taught me how to use weights so I felt comfortable when I went to the gym alone. She listen to my goals and gave me realistic expectations. She encouraged me to work and push myself as hard as I could even when I was ready to quit. I had such an awesome experience with her and learned so much!!! I highly recommend her training talents!
Recently I decided to make my health a top priority and working with Hannah has been a great change in my life. I have a few medical issues and I’ve been working with Hannah since November 2017. Not only have I noticed the strength I’ve gained post neck surgery, though as well the confidence and motivation to continue to work out. She is a very positive trainer, she has always worked with me in regards to my personal goals, my schedule, my back flare ups... I think it’s very important to have good communication with your trainer, expressing whether it be your goals long term and short term, any discomfort you may have and your diet and nutrition. I all around highly suggest Hannah to anyone that has any kind of fitness and health goal, large or small.
I had a lower back injury a while back and had lost alot of motivation to stay active prior to working with Hannah. She really helped break that hopeless feeling and made me feel like i could do anything and help me get back on track, and my back feels stronger than ever! She gave me targeted exercises and proper meal planning and her great motivating energy, my training sessions were beyond great! I can't thank you enough Hannah!
