About Jackie
Jackie Nguyen is a US Veteran, serving 8 years in the US Military. He is a 5th Degree Black Belt in Karate, a Certified Personal Trainer, holding First Aid/CPR/AED certifications, and is fully insured. Jackie attended Fullerton College and California State University of Fullerton and majored in Kinesiology (exercise science) and Nutrition.
He has over 20 plus years of martial arts training in the following disciplines and arts: Dutch Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Judo, Boxing and Ju-jitsu; and has obtained a 5th degree black belt in Hawaii Kempo karate. Over the course of his experience, Jackie has also been a Martial arts and Self Instructor and Kickboxing Coach.
For the past 15 years, he has helped thousands of clients, just like you, achieve their weight loss and fitness goals. The combination of his experience, knowledge, and educational background helps him create a specialized fitness and weight loss program that will assist you to drop 2 to 4 pounds of fat a week. With Jackie’s food plan guidance you will still be able to eat delicious and nutritious foods without going hungry.

1. PERSONAL TRAINING & WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM
I offered both One on One personal training and Small group training (up to 6 people) at a time. But usually the group has 4 people at a time training.
All personal training program includes a Meal plan, Nutritional counseling and Grocery list that tells you exactly what to buy and what to eat each day. And a fitness and bodyfat assessment.
2. DUTCH KICKBOXING
Dutch Kickboxing training is a FUN and FAST Paced (a explosive Kickboxing Style) that will guaranteed to helps you lose weight, bodyfat, get in shape, tone up and increase self-confidence. (NO Sparring)
3. SELF DEFENSE CLASS
The world can be a dangerous place, and it's important to be prepared. So learn how to protect yourself and your family by using anything around you as a weapons.
Learn safety tips on how avoid being a victim of violence while at home, work place or college dorm . How to escape Hair grab, hand grab, shirt grab, get out of Strangulation, bear hugs, escape zip ties and duck tapes around your wrists and much much more.

Most of my One-on-One training session availability is before 5 pm. After 5 pm it's usually my Small Group Training Session. And I'm available to train you from Monday through Saturday.

My favorite client story
What's a push-up, lol. The gentleman was a very intelligent person who was a chemical engineer never exercise in his entire life until his doctor him that he need to lose weight and get in shape.
Pass forward 6 month he was doing 100 push-up and lost 35 lbs. and was in much better shape then he was in his 20s.

I've been training for the past 12 years and have 15 years of experience in Health and Fitness. Jackie is a great trainer to train under. He likes to communicate, wants to understand your goals and work towards that. Training sessions with him have always been equal parts fun and challenging. Fun because he is engaged with you, watching your form and having conversation to go through the exercises. Challenging because he knows when you are plateauing and changes the exercise up a little. Even after the workout, he texts you to suggest what to do on off-days, what to eat and in general is a great accountability partner. If you are living in the Irvine area (or OC for that matter), you should definitely consider him.
Being a beginner with workout I didn't know much, but Jackie was patient enough to teach and train me. He is always full of energy and that energy pushes you for training. I have been training with him for 6 months so far and I can say Jackie is the best trainer for a beginner.
I found Jackie and he's a wonderful trainer! He's super affordable and he includes a free meal plan, grocery list, and nutritional counseling in his services. The gym itself is very clean and well ventilated. Jackie handles the pandemic very well by taking the necessary protocols of frequently disinfecting all the equipment and making sure that there is social distancing. The number of people are also limited per session and he focuses on making sure you're doing the exercises correctly. I've had a few sessions with him, and following his recommendations for diet and exercise even outside his facility have made me feel more energetic and just over all healthy. If you're unsure of signing up, I'd 100% recommend giving it a try.
Jackie is an amazing coach and so much fun to workout with. He has immense knowledge on the workouts, and which ones give the max. growth. His sessions are stress busters for me... Workout and chats are best combination. I recommend trying his sessions at least once - the results speak for themselves in a short term.

Jackie is a great trainer! He pushed you when you need to be pushed but he doesn’t take it to the extreme. He trains you at your own level and at your pace, making sure that you achieve your fitness goals!
I’ll start this by saying I do not enjoy hard workouts. I came home from work one day and my husband told me he signed us up for a training session, and I was less than thrilled. But, I went for the session with Jackie, and was instantly hooked! Jackie listened to my fitness goals and pushed me to the point where I was sore and saw results, but not to the point that I didn’t want to come back. He tailors all workouts to your needs. My husband wanted a tougher workout and more of a push, and that’s what he got from our sessions. Not only did we get a great workout in, but Jackie is very personable and makes the workout fun. He is flexible with time, there were so many days that we needed to change the time or day last minute, and Jackie worked with our schedule changes. He also doesn’t push you out when your hour is up. Jackie truly cares about your results and making sure you’re satisfied with your workout. Unfortunately, we moved out of the area- otherwise we would still be working out here! Highly recommend!

I have been working with Jackie for almost 9 months now. Jackie is more than a good trainer: He listens to your personal goals and helps you to achieve them in ways that push you towards consistency in the gym AND helping you to take responsibility for your own progress.
