For the past 10 years my workouts have consisted of basic cardio, and some anareobic workouts and for the most part I was happy with my results. But as i've gotten older I've definitely plateaued. That's all changed since working with Josh Rowe. He explained the concept of muscle confusion, and on top of that, created the most unique workout plan I've ever done. He incorporates all different styles of exercise into a program specific for me! Since taking on Josh's workout program I've actually freed up a lot of my time and energy, which seems counterintuitive with taking on an exercise program. But, I no longer waste time researching the latest exercise fads. I don't feel the need to count calories because I feel my metabolism going up, and I'm not aimlessly going from machine to machine at the gym. I just hit the gym with Josh and he keeps me mentally focused and physically engaged for an hour in the morning, then I get my day started. I was looking for a workout program specific for me, a trainer to motivate me (without being annoying), and a trainer that took the time to teach me. And I found that all with Josh "Da Trainer."
Josh began to help me get in shape from around 2013-14 leading up to my wedding. I mentioned to him that I wanted to get in shape and didn't feel motivated or really know where to start. Right away, Josh offered to help. He remained so committed to helping me every step of the way - from providing me with workouts and goals, to doing workouts alongside me, to providing meal plans, and just being an overall 'cheerleader' along the way. I’m someone who knows nothing about diets or working out, so this was amazing to have someone figure all of that out for me. I saw results that I never thought were possible – I lost 40+ lbs, gained muscle I didn’t know I had, and learned so much; and I really don’t think any of that would have been possible without Josh. A personal trainer should be passionate about what they do, and it is really obvious that Josh cares about his clients on a personal and professional level. He is super knowledgeable and he takes on their goals as his own. I would wholeheartedly recommend Josh to anyone looking for a great personal trainer!
Josh Rowe was my personal trainer in 2014 when I was getting ready for my wedding. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. He put me in the best shape of my life and also became a friend in the process. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, friendly, motivating personal trainer, then Josh is your man!
I have trained myself for years and finally stepped outside my box and decided to have Josh train me. For a little background on myself - I lifted heavy for 9+ years and recently (2 years) switched to circuit and endurance training for triathlons, duathlons, and MTN Biking. For 3 times a week, over a month, Josh introduced numerous workouts and techniques I would never have been able to do on my own - HIT, circuit, plyometrics, kettlebell, and boxing (killer workout and probably the most fun). I don't recall ever doing the same workout twice, which was a breath of fresh air. On top of a knowledgeable trainer, Josh is personable and fun. Overall, Josh is a very knowledgeable and experienced trainer. I plan on seeing Josh again within the next few months to reinvigorate my training. Thanks again, Josh!
