About Sophie

With my background as an Olympic trained speed skater and national champion, you can expect optimum results when you work with me. My specialties include weight loss, strength, core, circuit, kettle bell, TRX and speed blast training. Although I have a friendly approach, I expect my clients to commit 100% to their training programs and in return I will give 100% of my attention and guidance to make sure every client reaches their personal goals. Whether you are brand new to exercise or more advanced, I always focus on stabilization, balance, and core strength before progressing onto a more dynamic and specialized program. This is done to prevent injury, prepares you for more advanced exercises which then guarantees faster results. In addition I am always available to give nutritional guidance to help achieve optimum results. Being a professional athlete for over 12 years, I know what it takes to get results whether it's mentally, physically, or both. I will be there to push you and give you an achievable, yet effective program. It's not always going to be easy, but trust me once you get there you will be wondering why you didn't do this a long time ago. let's do this!

My favorite client story

One of my most loyal clients came to me a year ago feeling very insecure about herself. She didn't have much confidence in personal training but decided to give it a shot. After 2 months she was a completely different person! Not only did she lose 10 pounds, but her perception on life changed 100%. She became a much happier person and actually began to enjoy working out! It wasn't easy at the beginning but it just goes to show if you want it enough, anyone can do it! I am proud to say I continue to train her today.

My favorite exercise

Anything involving the TRX! The TRX requires a lot of stabilization and balance which is something most people find challenging, which is why I love it! It's perfect for beginners or for the advanced because it's all body weight exercises.

My training experience

Age 9 to 18 - trained as an inline speed skater and represented the USA in 3 World Championships from 2001 to 2010.Age 18 to 21 - trained for the Olympics in Kearns, Utah for long track speed skating from 2010 to 2012.I then went to school at the National Personal Training Institute of Orlando and worked at Gold's Gym Hollywood, California for over a year. I am now an independent trainer with a loyal list of clients.
