About Sydney

I have always loved all things fitness and wellness. Physical activity has been a staple in my life whether it be through playing sports, training for and running half marathons, leading virtual workouts and fitness boot camps during the pandemic, trying new forms of strength and resistance training etc. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2016 with a degree in Education. I taught elementary school for 4 years and then secondary Health and Physical Education for 4 years. As a teenager I played competitive volleyball and I continued my love for the sport as a High School Varsity Volleyball coach for 7 years. I have two children who are my motivation for staying strong and cultivating a balanced lifestyle. After having my son in 2021, I took my fitness to a new level and trained with Rob at Habib Health and Fitness for 8 months. I loved the process and results so much that after having my daughter in 2023 I decided to get my Personal Training Certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and I am currently working on getting pre/postnatal fitness certified. I am fortunate to now work with Habib Health and Fitness and share my knowledge and passion for this industry. My goal as a personal trainer is to help others feel strong and confident in their body and to support people on their journey of creating a balanced lifestyle. Exercising should be enjoyable and motivational. I am excited to teach, inspire, support, motivate and guide you to reaching, and exceeding, your goals.
