Ma’alahi Wellness is a wellness company that provides health and wellness coaching, personal training including youth and corrective exercise, and yoga courses for individuals and companies. It was established in 2015 by wellness professional Danielle Richards. As a healer, Danielle Richards assesses the wants and needs of her clients, and creates a plan specifically catered to that individual. Using her knowledge of health and wellness, she provides healing through researched fitness and coaching instruction, accountability, ongoing support, and thoroughly researched information.
Ma’alahi Wellness offers health and wellness coaching, yoga classes, and personal training services. Each of these services are distinct from each other and can be used separately or together to create a diverse wellness plan for the client.
Health and Wellness coaching provides the tools and support to aid the client in goal setting and behavioral counseling. Goals may include managing chronic illness, losing or gaining weight, career goals and habit change. The client has the power to direct the session based on the goal they decide to work on, playing an active role in their own lifestyle change.
Private and group yoga sessions incorporate Vinyasa flow, a style of yoga that connects breath to movement. These sessions incorporate intention setting, meditation techniques, physical adjustments and restorative poses that provide nurture and healing in the form of movement. Clients are given the necessary tools to continue their own at home practice.
Ma’alahi Wellness’ personal training sessions help clients achieve their fitness goals through exercise and nutrition coaching. This includes program design, corrective exercise, and online coaching. Using current and relevant research, Danielle Richards provides programs that aid in the client’s goal of losing, maintaining or gaining weight, building muscle mass, correct posture/movement, managing a chronic illness or increasing fitness skills. Her ongoing learning of subject matter always ensures the client’s safety. Wellness coaching techniques are gently applied to help clients adhere to their program.
