Hello! My name is Evan Lawrence and I want to help you reach your health, fitness, and wellness goals.
Who am I?
I am a local Brooklyn resident who has a love and passion for many things, particularly fitness and psychology. I obtained a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and a Masters Degree in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I apply my degree through my full time work in the field of mental health. I love my work but my true passion is fitness. I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the Academy of Applied Personal Training Education through Hofstra University. I have been a trainer for over 5 years, starting my journey at New York Sports Club and moved up to the position of Lead Trainer. Eventually I broke away from the corporate gym world and became a part time independent trainer which is what I do now. I enjoy using the knowledge I have obtained in both areas of study to compliment the other. I believe they work together in an fashion that allows me to work intelligently and efficiently will my clients thus ensuring they reach their objectives. And there is nothing I love more than guiding people in reaching their health (physical and mental) and fitness goals.
