About Katherine

I'm challenging and caring so I work best with clients who are invested in their own well-being. Sessions are empowering and stress relieving. I focus on your goals which may vary from session to session. For example, one day you may want a tough interval workout with cardio and weights, another day may be Yoga, or Pilates, or a combination of these. I'm also technical about form to help prevent injury. I love ensuring that you can keep going strong long term, that may involve foam rolling, breathing techniques, etc. I also work with wellness programs, so I'm attentive to improving your life, that may also be things like your balance, your posture, and perhaps even your inner dialogue.

Bits about me:
First career: Financial Analyst for Nonprofits for almost a decade. Love analysis, don't love staying in an office, and love the personal impact I can have in this career. I wanted to volunteer doing something I love over 10 years ago, and I never expected it to become my second career. I understand the stresses of a corporate job.
Fitness: Been in the gym since I was 10 because I was overweight. I lost 60 pounds over 20 years ago, kept them off. Nutrition was the key I was missing but finding workouts and instructors I love keep me inspired.
Wellness: Teach complementary therapies that can help the mind-body connection, work at a clinic offering Reiki/EFT/MIndfulness, and also Yoga classes.
I've worked with almost every possible population: from prenatal to seniors from all walks of life.

I absolutely love Katherine! She is a fun, energetic and always bouncing off the walls. I have taken her Pilates class for a couple of months now, and I really starting to notice a difference in my body. I’ve lost weight, my six pack is in sight and those flabby arms are starting to look long and lean. I also occasionally take her yoga class as well and it’s always calm and relaxing. I highly recommend this instructor if you are looking to work out but also have fun sweating.

Katherine is a wonderful instructor, she is energetic and motivates those attending her class. I attended a Boot Camp Class for several months and found the class to be challenging which is what it should be, however having a great instructor helped me push myself to the next level. The class was well balanced exercising all muscles and helped me achieve the results I was looking for.
