About Sam
I am a fitness and health enthusiast who loves helping people create and meet goals to improve their lives. I train Mixed Martial Arts and live much of my life in an effort to enhance my own performance. As a result of this I have become obsessed with practical and effective fitness and nutrition practices. A typical session will include the following: A stretching period, designed to correct muscle tightness and prep the body for physical activity. This is followed by cardio, which will trigger your bodies systems to both grow and burn. The rest of the session will vary. However, I use periodized strength training as my base. This means the client will be put through stages, some of the stages will be determined by the clients goals but I will always include stabilization, muscle hypertrophy (growth), and muscle endurance. These stages will include both classic lifts such as squats/bench presses and functional movement exercises including balance training and coordination.
My favorite exercise
Squats, they activate my core muscles from quads to abs. If you have a strong base all movement is easier.
