I am a certified personal trainer with 17 years of experience. I am certified with the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a PT and as a Sport Fitness Specialist. I have a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Kinesiology.
I can travel to you or you can travel to me. We can meet in your home/space, public park, etc. I bring all the tools if you do not have any equipment. I use a variety of tools in your sessions. I offer personal, buddy or even group training.

I train out of a semi-private gym in Santa Monica on Ocean Front Walk. Additionally, the original muscle beach is in the front yard and provides numerous training opportunities that can't be duplicated in a gym setting.
My approach to training is tailored for your individual needs. Everybody is designed differently and I don't believe in a "one routine fits all" approach to helping you reach your goals. My background is in sports and entertainment, including stunt work. I've helped leading actors transform their bodies for roles. I've also helped people work through health challenges including Lupus and MS. Chances are I know just what it takes to meet and exceed your goals, but if I'm not the right pro for the job I'll be upfront with you and refer you to one of my industry colleagues. My approach to personal training puts an emphasis on the chemistry of both parties involved. I'm not a drill sergeant. I do expect your full effort and also aim to make our time together something you'll look forward to.

I've worked with people that fall within that spectrum and have seen amazing results in the different, customized workout programs, specifically tailored to their individual needs.
If you're looking to hire an expert make sure they are one that's committed to contributing to your overall knowledge, and will help build your programs specifically to you. It's easy for personal trainers to give each client the same workout template and call it day, however this ignores the facts that each student is different, has different limitations, and different abilities. It is in the individualized programs that you will see a better balance overall in muscular symmetry and development. You should also go into it with at least a small base of knowledge, this way you can pick up the training much quicker.
For anyone newly starting out I always recommend this online course that teaches those basics of some diet tips, muscle groups, and basic workouts to train them. It's an amazing resources for all beginners!
